Our Intensive Training program allows you to do more with your dog...
Our Intensive Training Program is a brilliant way to get you and your dog on the right track.
We work through issues you are facing with your dog by displacing unwanted behaviours with positive behaviours. We also demonstrate how you can continue your training whilst at home or on your daily walks. In addition to this, we offer continual support through top-up sessions or collaborative walks after the initial training. This helps to ensure you and your dog are entirely confident to pursue what you have learned. We offer this support continuously and for however long you and your dog may need.
Why is our Intensive Training different and more owner friendly?
A lot of Intensive Training/ Board & Trains involve sending your dog away to a trainer/ facility for 2-3 weeks. During our Intensive Training Program, your dog will be picked up in the morning and dropped off in the evening to your house, each day, so you won't have to worry about missing them.
The common reasons owners sign their dog up for our Intensive Training Programme...
Does this sound familiar?
-
Walks are not enjoyable, their dog drags them down the road.
-
Even with food the dog is not interested in their owner, they feel non-existent.
-
The owner feels as if the dog will only listen if treats are visible.
-
They want to be able to let their dog off lead but are scared that they won't come back when called.
-
Their dog barks and is reactive towards other dogs/ people/ cars etc, and they feel like they've tried everything.
-
They would like to do more with their dog but taking them to new places is too stressful.

What is an E-Collar?
An E-Collar uses the same technology as a ‘Tens Machine’ which is used on humans for therapeutic purposes. We only use one brand of E-Collar (Mini Educator) which has 100 levels of stimulation. This allows us to find the lowest and weakest level of stimulation that your dog can feel. To put ‘stimulation’ into perspective, most dogs working level of stimulation (what they are able to feel) is usually between levels 4-8. Whereas most humans will not be able to feel the muscle stimulation up until level 12 or above.

This is how our Intensive Training can help you...
The walk
During our Intensive Training your dog will be taught to loose lead walk no matter the environment/distraction. We will then overlay this taught behaviour with an E-Collar and either a slip lead or prong collar. Gone are the days of not enjoying your walks and being dragged down the road.
Off lead freedom
Your dog will finally get the freedom they've always wanted. No more avoiding the park/ woods because your dog will chase things or ignore your commands and not come back. You can confidently let them off knowing your dog understands their recall command and your invisible/ bluetooth lead (E-Collar) is there as your back up.
Place/ Settle
Would you like to invite friends over but your dog jumps all over them and your furniture? Or does your dog just simply not have an 'off switch' in the house? During their Intensive training they'll be taught a place command on a raised bed, which will be overlayed by their E-Collar.
Stop unwanted behaviours
This training will transform your ‘No’ into a meaningful command. Your dog will actually stop the unwanted behaviour. This is massively helpful for reactive dogs that have tendencies to stare or explode towards other dogs or people passing by on walks or even out of your windows.
Outings
During the Intensive Training Program, your dog will be taken to multiple dog friendly shops, cafes and exciting places to be taught how to remain calm, even around new people and smells. You will then be able to continue this training by taking your dog along to lunch with friends or visiting your favourite dog friendly shops. No more limitations!
Owner support
Working with you afterwards is a key part of our intensive training program. A thorough handover session will take place to demonstrate to you what your dog has learned and to teach you how to work with your dog and continue their training. Rest assured, our support is continued throughout and after your training. We areavailable to answer any questions that you may have, whenever you need.
