Ariane Canine Dog Training Terms and Conditions:

 

Welcome to Ariane Canine Dog Training. By booking our services, you are agreeing to comply with and be bound by the following terms and conditions of use, which govern Ariane Canine's relationship with you in relation to our dog training services. These terms are put in place for the safety, responsibility, and welfare of our clients and their pets.

 

1. Liability Disclaimer

  • Ariane Canine shall not be responsible for any loss, injury, or damage to any person, dog, car, or property that may occur during the course of our training services. Owners retain full responsibility for their dogs at all times.

 

2. Dog Handling and Control

  • Owners must ensure their dogs are cleaned up after.

  • Dogs are to be kept under control and on a lead in public areas, going off-lead only upon specific instruction from the trainer.

  • Owners are responsible for their dog's behaviour and control, even when following trainer instructions.

 

3. Attendance

  • Children under the age of 16 are welcome but must be supervised by an adult parent/guardian at all times during sessions.

  • All attendees must adhere to safety instructions and training guidance provided during sessions.

 

4. Health and Behaviour Disclosure

  • Owners must declare any bite history or health issues concerning their dog at the time of booking our services.

 

5. Payments and Cancellations

  • Payment for sessions is due on the day of the session, payable via Bank Transfer or cash.

  • Rescheduling requires a minimum of 48 hour’s notice without incurring extra charges.

  • Cancellations without a 48-hour notice will result in a fee of 50% of the original service cost.

  • Outstanding payments not settled within 30 days will lead to further action, possibly incurring additional costs.

  • Ariane Canine reserves the right to cancel or reschedule any appointment with 48-hour notice.

  • Should payment not be received within 30 days following the due date for a 1-2-1 session, Day Camp, or Obedience Group Class, further action will be taken, potentially incurring additional costs for you.

 

6. Intensive Training Program

  • Before the commencement of your dog's Intensive Training, it is required that you procure the appropriate E-Collar and present it to your trainer on the initial day of the training program.

  • Within our Intensive Training Program, it is important to understand that your dog will undergo conditioning to respond to an E-Collar as well as a slip lead or prong collar, which will be employed throughout their training.

  • Pick-up and drop-off times will be confirmed, with notifications sent out for any delays.

  • The transportation of dogs will be in a crated, ventilated van, with individual crates for each dog.

  • Dogs may be taken to various locations as part of their training regimen which include but are not restricted to, public places, parks, woodlands and dog-friendly shops/ cafes.

  • Full payment for Intensive Training is required upfront. 

  • The cost of the Intensive Training Program does not cover the E-Collar, which the client must acquire before the commencement of the training sessions.

  • A 1-hour 1-2-1 session introductory session is necessary before all Day Camp, Intensive Training, or Obedience Group Class participants.

  • Ariane Canine retains the authority to terminate the participation of any dog in our Intensive Training Program, even after the training has begun. Should this occur, you will be notified and reimbursed for the unused portion of the training.

 

7. Client Selection and Commitment to Training Methods

  • Ariane Canine maintains the prerogative to select clients for participation in our programs. 

  • We exclusively engage with individuals committed to achieving optimal results for themselves and their dogs.

  • Clients must be receptive to the utilization of various training tools, as the needs of each dog differ. These tools encompass but are not restricted to, slip leads, flat collars, prong collars, longlines/flexi leads, muzzles, crates, dog beds/mats, and raised beds.

 

8. Training Equipment

  • Participants must purchase an E-Collar before the commencement of Intensive Training.

 

9. Health Emergencies

  • Owners are responsible for their dog in case of illness during 1-2-1 or Obedience Group Classes.

  • By enrolling your dog in our Day Camp or Intensive Training Program, you authorise Ariane Canine to either return your dog to your home or transport them to the nearest veterinary clinic, should they become ill. 

 

10. Right to Refuse Service

  • Ariane Canine reserves the right to refuse or discontinue service to any client not committed to the training philosophy or for dogs that may pose a risk to trainers or other dogs, with appropriate refunds for unused services.

 

11. Owner Commitment to Ongoing Dog Training

  • You acknowledge the importance of continuing the training practices and techniques demonstrated or recommended by Ariane Canine to ensure the maintenance of your dog's training progress. You confirm your commitment to dedicating the necessary time for ongoing training with your dog, recognizing this as your responsibility.

 

  • Ariane Canine shall not be liable for any regression in your dog's behaviour resulting from the discontinuation or inadequate continuation of the training methods provided.

 

12. Agreement

  • By booking any service with Ariane Canine, you acknowledge and agree to these Terms and Conditions, confirming your understanding and commitment to adhere to the guidelines provided for the welfare and safety of all parties involved.
